Refund Policy

We want you to love your saltycow. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Free 30-day returns

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return, and returns are free. We cover the return shipping.

To be eligible, your jar must be unopened, unused and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase (your order number or receipt).

Because our moisturizer is a personal skincare product, we can’t accept returns of opened or used jars for hygiene reasons, except in the cases below.

If your skin doesn’t agree with it

Every skin is different, and we always recommend a patch test on your inner arm before first use. If you experience irritation, stop using the product and message us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll review each case personally and may offer a refund,  replacement or store credit] at our discretion.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or isn’t what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include:

  • your order number
  • clear photos of the item and the packaging (an unboxing video helps)

We’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

Pre-orders

You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships. Once your order has been dispatched, our standard 30-day return terms apply.

How to start a return

  1. Email us at hello@saltycowtallow.com or message us on Instagram @saltycowtallow with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with return instructions. Please don’t send items back without contacting us first, as we can’t accept unannounced returns.
  3. Ship the item back to the address we give you. Return shipping is free. We’ll either arrange the pickup or reimburse your return shipping cost once we receive the item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether it’s approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (GCash, bank transfer or card) within 7 to 14 business days. Card refunds may take a few extra days to appear, depending on your bank.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get a different item is to return the one you have and place a new order.

Sale items and bundles

Bundle orders (2 or 3 jars) can be returned in full or in part under the same conditions. Partial returns are refunded at the discounted per-jar price you paid. Items bought with a discount code are refunded at the price paid.
